Bio

Amber Marsh is an artist, designer, printer, maker and woodworker. They have over 15 years of experience in the outdoor recreation and print industries. They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree for Graphic Design from Plymouth State University, in New Hampshire. Their passion for the outdoors and the recreation industry is what brought them to Portland, Oregon to pursue their Master of Fine Arts in Collaborative Design at Pacific Northwest College of Art, which they completed in 2019. Since then they have been working in the print industry where they specialize in large format print, design and production processes. They have been teaching at PNCA since the fall of 2023 as adjunct faculty.

Their work explores sustainability, accessibility and equity. When not teaching or creating, they can often be found snowboarding or paddleboarding. They really enjoy woodworking and utilizing waste materials in their work, and are often finding ways to use the trash created by modern printing methods.

Amber has done work for: Sun Valley Resort, Cardrona Alpine resort, Bogus Basin Recreation Area, Sun Peaks Resort, Sun Valley Film Festival, Mountain Approach. They were responsible for the first ever snowboarding ad for Sun Valley Resort, and have worked in collaboration with Ski Magazine, Snowboarder, GNU snowboards, Golf Magazine.
