Dr.Eric LassahnP'28

Serving our institution for over 10 years, Eric seeks to strengthen the greater Willamette community including alumni, parents and family members, community partners, and friends as well as among our current students of all schools. Through in-person and virtual programming, communication, and relationship building, he strives to deepen and support the sense of belonging that comes with being a member of the Willamette family. His primary responsibilities include working closely with committees on the Alumni Board, and alumni in the WU Sustainability, education, athletics, and Heritage Club affinities. Before coming to University Relations, Lassahn served as the Director of Community Service Learning at Willamette.

Previously at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, Lassahn served in multiple administrative roles including Civic Engagement, Study Away, and Residence Life. Lassahn grew up on the east coast, attending Salisbury University for both his bachelors and masters programs. Since then, Lassahn has lived and worked in California, served as a staff member on Semester at Sea, and raised a family. In 2015 he earned his PhD in Education from Prescott College and now considers himself a very happy Oregonian.
