Heather S Freeman

Heather Freeman began her career at DreamWorks Animation, where she recruited top-tier talent in animation and visual effects. One of her responsibilities was collaborating with universities and art schools to onboard emerging artists. Her work contributed to the success of iconic films like Antz, Shrek, and Madagascar. Heather later excelled in business development and sales within the professional skincare industry, working with top spas and resorts across the Pacific Northwest.

Driven by a passion for education and helping others, Heather transitioned into the role of Director of Admissions at a vocational school, where she guided students and their families in pursuing education and training.

Inspired by her mother, a business professor and lifelong learner, Heather is thrilled to be part of Willamette University as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the MBA for Professionals program. In this role, she leverages her extensive experience to connect with local professionals and prospective students, helping them embark on paths of leadership and growth.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, hiking, and spending time with her golden retriever. She is also an open water diver with a deep love for the ocean.
