Bio
Jason McNamara is a veteran comic book creator with over 20 years of experience writing, editing, lettering, and publishing original works for the graphic novel market. He has been published by Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Stela Comics, AiT/Planet Lar and Cognito Comics. In 2003 he founded the Polite Strangers label for his self published works.
Recent graphic novel titles include Past Tense, Ghost Band, Creepers, The Rattler, The Cicada, Nocturnal Commissions and the SUCKER series.
Jason has also worked as a Creative Consultant for the Golden State Warriors, Lucasfilm, IMMI.IO, Relic Ticketing, Maximum Games, and Crimson Consulting.
Jason's passion for storytelling involves incorporating complex themes into genre work; with a focus on collaboration and the readers experience.
Jason, his wife, and their four dogs live in Southwest Portland.
