Bio
Jennifer (Jen) S. Stevenson graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, Washington. She is an experienced legal educator and practitioner who began her career at Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle, focusing on real estate transactions and estate planning, while also volunteering with several immigrant rights organizations.
She later joined William & Mary Law School, in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she taught courses such as Legal Writing, Lawyering Skills, and Introduction to U.S. Law. She also administered the LL.M. program at William & Mary Law School.
Stevenson then served as Associate Dean and Director of the LL.M. program in American Legal Studies at St. Mary’s University School of Law, San Antonio, Texas.
Stevenson has mentored hundreds of international students and scholars. She recently completed work as an expert consultant for U.S. State Department-funded project to enhance legal reasoning and writing in Moldova.
