Kristeen Coombs

Kristeen Coombs is the Director of Development for the Office of Gift Planning at Willamette University, where she partners with alumni, parents, and friends to help them achieve their philanthropic goals while supporting the university’s mission. In her role she manages a portfolio of major and planned giving prospects, building meaningful relationships and guiding donors through the process of creating lasting legacies at Willamette.

Kristeen joined Willamette in 2014 after more than two decades in executive administration, office and account management, and client relations across both public and private sectors. This diverse background fostered her strong commitment to service, collaboration, and relationship-building—skills that now shape her work with the university’s donor community.

Beyond her professional life, Kristeen is deeply devoted to her family and friends. She and her husband, Scott, cherish time with their blended family of grown children, traveling, camping and enjoying the outdoors. They also share their adventures with their two beloved dogs, Saydee and Kali.
