Bio
Kate Hall maintains a private mediation and Collaborative Divorce family law practice in Salem, OR (www.katehalllaw.com). She is the Mediation Co-Chair and Chair for the Oregon State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Executive Committee, a member of the Local Family Law Advisory Committee for the Marion County Court, a current board member and past two-term president of the Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals, a member of the Oregon Mediation Association and currently serves on their Standards and Practices Committee, a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals, and the Clackamas Collaborative Divorce practice group. Kate has previously worked as a law clerk serving all of the Judges and Trial Court Administrator the Marion County Circuit Court (2014-2016), as an extern at the Oregon Court of Appeals (2012), and as law clerk at the Child Advocacy Section of the Oregon Department of Justice (2012-2013). Kate holds a Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She makes functional and wood-fired pottery for fun. She also enjoys reading easy novels, swimming, biking and hanging out with her "career change" dog (he was cut from his service dog training for being too friendly and is now just a pet).
