Bio

Professor Carella joined Willamette University in 2003 after completing her Doctor of Jurisprudence at Willamette University, College of Law in 2002 and passing the Bar the same summer. A former secondary education teacher, she obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching from Pacific University in 1996, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Oregon in 1994. She teaches classes in the area of law, taught with a pedagogy geared toward the undergraduate student. Professor Carella also teachers American Politics and Legislative Internships and employs a legal lens through which she assesses national and local politics.
