Academic Support Center

Overview

TheAcademic Support Center (ASC)is a free service, located at PNCA, for students to meet with academic coaches to develop self-agency in their personal, scholarly, and professional practices. Students have the opportunity to meet with our academic coaches for scheduled appointments, drop-in sessions, and ongoing success workshops.

Mission Statement

Through persistence and tailored guidance, the Academic Support Center offers PNCA students tools to grow as individuals, scholars, and artists.

Coaching Appointments

***Note, the ASC (Room 208) is closed for the summer, BUT you can still book a coaching meeting with Sr. Academic Success Coordinator Jaydon Aydelotte in our office (Room 210) via scheduled appointment

Book a one-on-one appointment with our wonderful coaching team. Each coach has a vast toolset of skills and strategies beneficial to an arts education. Timeblocking, artist statements, research support — these are just a handful of the things we cover & so much more. In the fall & spring semesters, our coaches are available throughout the day (between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm) in the ASC (Room 208) or our office (Room 210)To book an appointment with a coach, click their profile picture below.

Drop-In Sessions

***Note, drop-ins are not offered during the summer. Please book an appointment with Sr. Academic Success Coordinator Jaydon Aydelotte in our office (Room 210).

In a hurry and need to have an appointment? No need to fret! During the fall & spring semesters, the Academic Support Center has drop-in appointments Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in Room 208. We encourage students to show up as they are — no need to plan anything, and its more than okay to show up messy.
