The IACUC maintains a collection of materials on animal care and uses them on reserve at the Circulation Desk of Willamette University's Hatfield Library. These materials were obtained from the many professional societies that provide additional guidelines and recommendations for approved techniques for animal care, capture, transport, handling, and marking. Also available is the American Veterinary Medical Association's list of acceptable methods of euthanasia should the humane disposition of animal participants be required.
