Awards and Honors

Latin American Studies bestows an annual award to an outstanding student major, and recognizes exceptional academic achievement among graduating senior majors by bestowing honors at Commencement.  

Award

The Latin American Studies Award is awarded to the senior with the highest GPA in the Latin American Studies major.

Honors

Departmental Honors are awarded to all graduating seniors with a GPA of 3.8 or greater in the Latin American Studies major.
