Media Relations

University Communications proactively engages with journalists, responds to media inquiries, and coordinates press releases to highlight the university's achievements and initiatives effectively.

We are happy to assist journalists seeking information about Willamette University. Office staff can coordinate interviews with Willamette spokespeople and faculty experts, as well as provide photos and other materials if available to assist with media coverage.

Media on campus

All recordings, interviews, broadcasts and live-streams in campus common areas must be approved by University Communications. Liability insurance and/or indemnification may be required.
