WITS: Web Applications
The Office of Web Applications (formally known as Web Development) was created to provide leadership and guidance to the entire Willamette community on using the Web as a communications tool, both for internal and external audiences.
Our goal is to promote unity and cohesion within Willamette's vast web space, providing all of our audiences with a consistent, polished, and professional user experience.
The Office of Marketing and Communications manages website updates, the calendar and campus maps.

Email Template Design
Consistency is very important to present a coherent brand identity, which includes html email templates, and to make it clear that an email message was sent from Willamette University regardless which unit. Recipients will become more familiar if a similar design of an email was sent to them with a clear branded look and feel. The more recipients know what to expect, the more likely they will be to open your email.
Emma
For internal communications the University uses a digital marketing platform named "Emma". We provide training and general application support. Email us today or submit a ticket.
