WITS will begin transitioning from Zoom to Google Meet as our primary video conferencing software. As this transition progresses, please check back here for resources and guides to help you acclimate to Meet.

  • As you transition from Zoom to Google Meet for your Video Conferencing needs, you will need to update your conferencing preference for reoccurring meetings and make sure to download all of the Zoom recordings you would like to save. Please note: you have until September 30, 2025 to transition from Zoom to Google Meet.

These two guides will help you start this transition:

  • We understand that video conferencing is an important tool: from 1:1’s, team meetings, cross communication between campuses, course content, and webinars many of us spend a portion of our day on camera. While Google offers extensive documentation on their products, WITS has prepared a series of short guides to walk you through how to use Google Meet.

As always, if you have any questions or would like a demonstration of how Google Meet works, please contact our Help Desk.
