Digital Learning Studio

Located in Ford Hall 101 on the Salem Campus, our mission is to connect students and faculty with digital learning tools and resources, as well as foster a hub of collaborative opportunities for all in our community.

Some of the computers and movable tables and chairs in the DLS.
  • Students can access the Digital Learning Studio (DLS) 24/7 with their WU IDs to meet, study, or use the technology.
  • The DLS help desk is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm during the semester.
  • The Willamette Community can submit projects to the DLS team for production (examples: creation of posters, logos, graphics, video and audio editing, filming, etc). Project request form linked here.

The DLS provides students and faculty with support for academic technology. We strive to integrate digital resources into teaching and learning at Willamette and work to develop a community where technology equips students with the skills they need to effectively communicate and connect with the world around them. We host digital information sessions and tutorials on how to use the information technology and resources available to the Willamette community.

Connect with the DLS for:

  • General academic technology questions
  • Access to desktop computers & the Collaboration Station
  • Space for study and meetings
  • Presentations
  • Graphic design & access to Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Audio and video editing
  • Canvas issues
  • Virtual reality
  • Connection with language tutors
