Social Justice and Equity Law Journal
The Willamette Journal of Social Justice and Equity is a student-run publication that serves as an interdisciplinary academic forum for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, students, and community members to contribute to society’s understanding of legal and policy issues concerning social justice and equity. The Journal is the first of its kind in Oregon and aims to become a meaningful outlet for scholarship that advances dialogue on race, gender, systemic inequality, public accountability, and other issues central to the pursuit of social justice. Alongside traditional academic publication, the Journal’s multimedia publication team works to make its publications more accessible by adapting published scholarship into formats that broader audiences can engage with. Members of the Journal’s board participate in research, editing, analytical writing, source review, and publication work that supports both scholarly rigor and broader public engagement.
