Vendor Guidelines

A sponsored activity at an internal event occurs when a university department or recognized student organization invites an external vendor to campus or approves an external vendor’s request to participate. In either case, the department or organization assumes responsibility for the vendor’s presence and activity.

The sponsoring department/event coordinator is responsible for collecting and keeping on file, all required documentation from the vendor no later than 14 days prior to the event. This includes a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the university as an additional insured before any on-campus activity occurs. Vendors are not allowed to be on campus until a COI has been received.

Food vendors must also provide valid food-handler certifications or licenses.
