Technology-Equipped Classroom Features

• Technology Classroom

  Contains common instructional-support technologies

  • A video display system (projector and screen, flat-panel display, etc.).
  • A professional-grade sound system (no projector speakers or desktop computer speakers, etc.).
  • The necessary ports and cabling to connect the instructional computer and/or a laptop to the above.
  • A dedicated instructional computer.
  • A central, programmable control system (touch-screen or push-button).A media playback device (VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray, etc.).
• BYOD Technology Classroom

  Contains common instructional-support technologies, but no instructional computer.

  • A video display system (projector and screen, flat-panel display, etc.).

  • The necessary ports and cabling to connect a laptop to the above.

• Basic Technology Classroom

  Contains a reduced set of instructional-support technologies, including an instructional computer.

  • The necessary ports and cabling to connect the instructional computer and/or a laptop to the above.
• Basic BYOD Technology Classroom

  Contains a reduced set of instructional-support technologies, but no instructional computer.

  • A video display system (projector and screen, flat-panel display, etc.).
  • A sound system (projector speakers or desktop computer speakers are acceptable)
  • The necessary ports and cabling to connect a laptop to the above.
