Moving In & Out

Check-In

At check-in, Residence Life and Housing will provide you access to your Residence Hall and a key to your room. For Fall Semester please check the appropriate webpage for specific information. For check ins that occur at other times during the academic year, including Spring semester, you must pick up your key from Residence Life and Housing during announced business hours.

Soon after check in, you will have access to a Room Condition Report via the Housing Portal. For your protection, it is essential that you ensure that damages to your room/suite/apartment prior to your occupancy are documented. You are responsible for reviewing your inventory on the Housing Portal and making any corrections or additions. You will be held responsible for any damage or other loss incurred which is in excess of normal wear and tear and which was not documented at check-in, unless it can be verified that another individual is responsible.

Check-Out

You are responsible for checking out of your assigned space whenever you move to another room or leave at the end of your contract/lease period. Occupancy ends at noon the day following final exams or Commencement for participants.
