Portland: PNCA Housing

Navigating housing is an important step in starting your journey at PNCA, and we're here to help you feel right at home. ArtHouse is a contemporary apartment building on the North Park Blocks in the arts-focused Pearl District. Designed with PNCA students in mind, ArtHouse is just a 5-minute walk from the main PNCA campus building. Whether you’re a new student planning to live at ArtHouse or a continuing student exploring off-campus options, our team is committed to supporting you throughout the process.

All new students are required to live in ArtHouse during their first year in line with the University's live on requirement unless they meet an exemption. Transfer students should connect with their admissions counselor or Residence Life and Housing to learn about how their transfer credits could meet this requirement.

Other exemptions are granted for students who are married or who are living with parents or legal guardians within 25 miles of campus. On a case-by-case basis, we will review requests for exceptions to this policy based on extraordinary circumstances.
